Eastpak X Jean Paul Gaultier Backpacks Raise AIDS Awareness
Jean Paul Gaultier and Eastpak joined forces to create awareness about HIV/AIDS with a very limited collection of fashionable backpacks that was released in February. April 1 sees the release of the Main Collection of four backpacks that represent Eastpak's college and street heritage. Through a bomber jacket and a denim jacket, Jean Paul Gaultier has reinterpreted these iconic pieces to make up a collection that stands the test of time.Part of all proceeds from sales will go to DAA, Designers Against AIDS, which was established in 2004 and works with pop culture icons from music, fashion, film, and art in order to raise awareness to young people across the world that HIV/AIDS is still very prevalent and a massive concern.
