Shoe Fever: Jimmy Choo Autumn/Winter 2012 Campaign

Jimmy Choo’s latest campaign for autumn/winter 2012 included images featuring model Querelle Jansen. She starred alongside male model Jonas Kessler for the advertisements photographed by the legendary, Terry Richardson. Camilla Nickerson styled the 70’s inspired collection with voluminous fur coats, snake-skin handbags and vintage style sunglasses. The images reflected the theme of the new Jimmy Choo designs, hitting on rock’n’roll allure with a sexy, bohemian edge. Boots are popular for the season, exemplified with long shearing accents and bright floral embroidery. Most notably, cut-out heels are adorned with sparkling silver metallic embellishments, paired with sophisticated black tuxedo pants. The setting for the campaign was the backseat of a Rolls Royce Phantom V where models posed seductively in the spacious interior. For a closer look into the recent advertisements, watch the commercial created for the autumn/winter 2012 collection. Jansen and Kessler play the part of glamorous rock stars, ready to hit the dance floor at Studio 54. The video proves to be a thrilling and intriguing insight into Jimmy Choo’s fall aesthetic.
