Morrison Presented by Deloitte

The fashion savvy and social elite gathered to pay homage to mark the ten year celebration of Iconic Western Australian Fashion label Morrison in one of Perth’s most historical and architecturally pleasing buildings the WA Museum. Patrons gathered to watch mastermind designer duo Kylie Radford and Richard Poulson show the latest cutting edge looks from the summer 2013 collection “Retrospect”, a showcase encompassing the feeling of long summer days and balmy summer nights. The show drew some fashionably familiar faces, Spotted were the likes of former Spice girl and fashion Icon Mel B dressed in local label Zhivago alongside movie-producer husband Stephen Belafonte and close friend and festival director Tony Sage. The always stylish Lord Mayor the honourable Lisa Scaffidi looked to be at home amongst family and friends and local export in to the world of International modelling Sarah Pauley tweeted from her front row seat. The catwalk was set ablaze with a swirl of fine tailoring, tropical prints, and beautiful earthy fabrics synonymous of the label that in both the local and international Industry are well renowned for their simplicity and effortless style. This year pairing with Deloitte what was not synonymous but clearly impressed the crown was their introduction of eveningwear. The duo had one more surprise up their sleeve though “Gidge” the Seeing Eye dog, who walked the catwalk then stopped to pose for photographers much to the crowd’s delight before perusing the goodie-bags along the F-Block on his return back down the runway.
