Fashion One presents: Favourites from the Osklen Label

We are not used to seeing clothes for the mountain in Brazil. Osklen succeeds fairly well with ten years in the industry behind him. It must be said that the founder, Oskar Metsavaht, a trained doctor, was introduced to the world of fashion after a personal expedition in the Andes leading him to create his own anoraks in innovative textiles, which became famous and helped him to develop a full line. For winter 2013, Oskar was inspired by the Patagonia and the looks of Aspen ski resorts in the 60s. From the basics based around the sweater, dress or coat, the designer likes to add personal touches such as volume, prints, embroidery, and other inserts, without forgetting the work on luxurious materials. He builds parallels between his male and female collections and offers a wardrobe mixed with sportswear and an urban feel. It is one of the few innovative labels to successfully export out of Brazil.
