NARS DOUBLE OR NOTHING

As the huge beauty fan that I am, when I heard about the new NARS Dual-Intensity eyeshadow collection I had to go and check it out for myself. I headed on down to the exclusive launch at Space NK on Broadwick street to visit the EYEconic pop-up studio and fell head over heels for these gorgeous little popping pots of colour.

I wanted to try out these little gems for myself as they are said to have a dual application. Dry they create a sheer, airbrush-like finish with luminous sheen (perfect for a day time look) or you can up the anti with a high-impact intense colour by simply applying the shadow with a dampened brush. I put it to the test with Samantha one of the NARS artistry team using colours Europa and Phoebe and fell in love with the results. It was the perfect alternative to the traditional brown smokey eye by using a pop of purple in the crease of the lid socket and I loved how the colour changed my look completely.

I was blown away when I saw how vivid the shadows became by using a wet brush and the final result changed the look from romantic and girly to luxurious and glam. Perfect to stick in your handbag for a day-to-night look. The product itself is super lightweight in texture but has a real intensity in the pigment which makes it super easy to build up on the lid and blend. The little compact mirror in the lid also means its easy to top up if needed when out and about.

The collection is available now exclusively to Space NK, but rolls out nationwide on August 1st.
