Getting Ready with the Models of Custo Barcelona

Featured Video
It was all prints and proportions at the Custo Barcelona Fall Ready-to-Wear 2015 runway show. Custo Dalmau, genius and designer behind the Custo Barcelona label, stayed true to his previous collections and paired prints with other prints and didn’t shy away from color. Though decidedly more classic and demure than previous collections, Dalmau still injected his signature sartorial elements. Sculpted shoulders, tailored minis, and vibrant doses of pink were all present.

According to Style, Dalmau commented during a preview at his Soho boutique “We're always trying to mix experimental shapes with classic silhouettes,” and that experimentation has become the backbone of label. Greys and beige were broken up with plaids and tweeds, while dusty roses and hints of orange accented the garments. Longline capes with culottes was the favored pairing in Custo’s Fall collection, while flirty shift dresses and playful capes looked like they were ready to walk right off the runway.
