Blake Lively Opens Up About Motherhood

Blake Lively is unstoppable as of late, and this time she is on the cover of Allure magazine’s May 2015 issue. The magazine’s focus this month is on beauty and the 27-year-old former Gossip Girl star is absolutely stunning in barely there makeup, wind blown hair, and a buttoned up white shirt.

The actress, mother, and owner of the lifestyle site Preserve opened up to the magazine about balancing all of her roles while still keeping everything together at the same time. Lively admitted to the magazine that juggling her busy schedule doesn’t come easily, saying, “Somehow I find a way to do it all. It’s not having it all; it’s about doing it all.”

The actress is also dedicated to creating a wholesome and healthy lifestyle for herself and her family. In addition to running Preserve, which she calls her passion, Lively is probably the only mother in Hollywood that is committed to breastfeeding her newborn James. And in the rare moments that the mother does find downtime, she tries to spend as much time as possible with her costars from The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.

Lively says, “Three of us have getaways, so we’ll go to different houses and kick our husbands out — now we’re all married women, and they all want to hang out with the girls.” Even though it has been revealed that the sisters are not baby James’ godmothers, that doesn’t mean that the ladies aren’t still bffs.
