David Beckham On Fire in New H&M Campaign Video

David Beckham’s relationship with H&M continues to grow with his Modern Essentials collaboration for the international retailer. The campaign images were released in late January, and now a campaign video and a behind-the-scenes look have been released along with it. The video was directed by filmmaker Marc Forster and stars David Beckham as a poolshark. David showcases his famous good looks in a black hoodie with zipper detailing and black jeans, and is surrounded by a posse of poolhall models that are also wearing the collection. David Beckham for Modern Essentials was handpicked by the star himself. David told Vogue about his continued collaboration with H&M, “I am thrilled to continue and extend my collaboration with H&M by selecting my favourite pieces from this spring's Modern Essentials collection. Each piece is a new wardrobe classic that will update every man's spring wardrobe with great style. Marc Forster is one of my favourite directors - I can't wait to reveal the new campaign with H&M.”

The collection itself stays true to its name: Modern Essentials. Wardrobe staples like basic tees, dark denim, and classic outerwear are made for wearability and longevity rather than to be trendy. While we were a little disappointed that David kept his pants on for this collection, we can’t deny that he––and the clothes––still look great.
